Frequently Asked Questions

What is needed before my first visit?

Before you come to our clinic, you will need to complete a questionnaire about your past medical history and other information about your lifestyle and diet. This information is vital to help us create a personalized weight loss plan that will be most effective for you. We need this information to review a week before your visit. Patients enrolled in our weight loss program will need initial and periodic testing including lab work. If you have had recent labs in the past 3 months through your provider, you can forward that information to us prior to the initial visit. Otherwise, labs will be ordered and you can file through your insurance.

How much does it cost?

The first visit will be a comprehensive evaluation and cost $150.  In general, most patients will need follow up visits monthly, which will be of shorter duration during the active weight loss phase. These visits cost $75 and further lab monitoring may be needed as indicated.  Regular close monitoring is recommended, as this is a predictor of success.

New patient visit is 1hour—$150

Follow up visit is 30 minutes—$75

Why don’t you take insurance?

Medical weight loss services are typically not covered by insurance. We have worked hard to ensure that our clinic is affordable for anyone who wants to achieve a healthier lifestyle. We believe in 100% transparency with all of our pricing: no hidden fees, no overcharging for services, no haggling with insurance companies. By doing direct payment pricing, we are able to keep our costs lower for our patients.

Should I continue to see my primary care physician?

Yes, you should continue to maintain your primary care physician. Our focus at this clinic is the treatment of obesity and preventative health. These visits do not replace a visit with your primary care physician, as you may have other health conditions that we cannot address here.
